- 2/3 cup marinara sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the mozzarella sticks in half.
- Set up dredging stations with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
- Dredge each stick in flour, then eggs, and finally breadcrumbs.
- Freeze the coated sticks on a baking sheet for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Brush the frozen sticks with olive oil.
- Air fry the sticks for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve immediately with marinara sauce if desired.
Notes
Ensure mozzarella sticks are frozen long enough to prevent melting in the air fryer.
Panko breadcrumbs provide a lighter and crispier texture than regular breadcrumbs.
