  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Cauliflower – Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Cut cauliflower into uniform florets, rinse, and dry.
  • Step 2: Make the Batter – Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Gradually add water until smooth.
  • Step 3: Coat the Cauliflower – Dip florets into the batter, coating evenly. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 4: Bake the Cauliflower – Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  • Step 5: Prepare the Buffalo Sauce – Combine hot sauce, melted butter, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Step 6: Toss and Serve – Toss baked cauliflower with Buffalo sauce and serve hot.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute butter with plant-based alternatives and use gluten-free flour if needed.
