- 4 ounces of salami, sliced
- 4 ounces of capicola, sliced
- 4 ounces of provolone cheese, sliced
- 1 cup of shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup of sliced pepperoncini
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients – Begin by preparing all your ingredients. Slice the salami, capicola, and provolone cheese if they aren’t pre-sliced. Dice the tomato and rinse the lettuce.
- Step 2: Make the Dressing – In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings as needed.
- Step 3: Assemble the Sandwich – Take your Italian hoagie roll and cut it in half lengthwise. Drizzle a bit of the dressing on both sides of the roll.
