Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken wings by separating them into three parts: the drumette, the flat, and the tip. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
- Marinate the wings by combining olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon pepper seasoning in a bowl. Toss the wings until coated, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Choose a cooking method: Bake at 425°F for 35-40 minutes, fry in heated oil at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, or air fry at 400°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Prepare the lemon pepper sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, then stirring in lemon juice and zest. Keep warm until ready to use.
- Coat the cooked wings in the lemon pepper sauce and toss gently until evenly coated.
