Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the Oven – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: Prepare the Muffin Tin – Grease the muffin cups with butter or use paper liners.
- Step 3: Mix Dry Ingredients – Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and poppy seeds in a bowl.
- Step 4: Combine Wet Ingredients – Mix melted butter, eggs, milk, lemon zest, and juice in another bowl.
- Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures – Fold the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined.
- Step 6: Fill Muffin Cups – Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with batter.
- Step 7: Bake the Muffins – Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Step 8: Cool and Enjoy – Allow muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
