Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the Meatball Mixture – Gather all your ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, and the egg. Sprinkle in the dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix gently until just combined and let sit for a few minutes.
- Step 2: Shape the Meatballs – Scoop out a portion of the mixture (about 1-2 tablespoons) and roll it into a ball. Aim for uniform size and set them aside on a plate.
- Step 3: Cook the Meatballs – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Alternatively, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway.
- Step 4: Serve with Marinara Sauce – Serve meatballs warm with marinara sauce poured over or on the side. Garnish with parsley or Parmesan cheese.
