- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup additional chocolate chips (optional)
- Chopped nuts or coconut flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the Pan – Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Step 2: Mix the Ingredients – In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, almond butter, honey, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.
- Step 3: Press and Chill – Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, press firmly into an even layer, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Step 4: Cut and Serve – Once chilled, slice into squares or rectangles and enjoy immediately or store for later.
Notes
Choose gluten-free oats if necessary.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
These bars can be frozen for a couple of months.
