Instructions

  • Step 1: Preparing the Puff Pastry: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut out heart shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Step 2: Creating the Filling: In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with your choice of fruit preserves or jam until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 3: Assembling the Hearts: Place a dollop of the filling on one heart, top with another heart, and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
